For 19 years our back door has never worked. We bought this place thinking its okay, the door gets a little stuck but some new rollers and it will work fine. Yes, well, not true. It never worked fine. Sometimes after a handyman or door “professional” attempted to repair it, it would run a little better, but never well.

I was told it needed to be filed down to get the door out, some people couldn’t get the door out to change the rollers. One guy filed something somewhere and got it out but then it didn’t work any better anyway. Another guy said put oil on the tracks. Which we did, but then I got told never put oil on the tracks as that was gunking up the rollers, so we stopped.

The weight of the door managed to break three handles. I was told to get a new door, get a new door frame, renovate that wall and completely change the whole thing. Eventually, when the last handle broke we just shut it and exited through the laundry.

So one day I was looking for a new screen door for the front of my house and came across Adsafe doors. I watched the video. I sent an enquiry in and they answered. No promises. What did I have to lose?

This wretched door had been the bane of our existence for so long what really did I have to lose! My alternative was to replace the door and frame, possibly redo the entire wall.

Magic…. $1200 and a couple of hours later and magic…it slides like it has never slid before. I just shook my head in disbelief. I never thought it would ever work and believed I would be paying so much more to get the whole thing replaced.

I cannot thank Adsafe doors enough. They were so good. Answered my email, called and followed up, arrived on time, gave a real quote and I have a beautiful sliding door as a result. I cannot speak highly enough of their workmanship and professionalism.

After it was fixed I asked different family members and friends to try the door, they thought I was trying to trick them. The surprise on all their faces as the this absolute nightmare of a door has finally been defeated is priceless.

Our old wire and screen doors would make a lot of noise upon being opened and closed, considering that they haven’t been cleaned nor checked since before I was born ( before the year 2000).

In fact, since my parent bought our house, and ever since yesterday, they’ve appeared much, much better, and I’m sure glad that we got them to repair it when they did.

Now there’s barely any noise and it’s working perfectly as if brand new.
